Ciao. My name’s Lorenzo. I’m 5 years old.

My favorite game to play in the whole world is soccer. I like to play it and I like to watch it on TV. Trey, Raj, Danny, Amir and I play soccer in the park all the time. Marisa, who is Mexican, likes soccer as much as us guys.

My Nonno, that's "grandfather" to us Italians, brought me a soccer ball all the way from Italy. It’s an official World Cup ball. And it's signed by some of the greatest players from all over the world. It’s my most valuable possession. I keep it on a special stand. I let Rina and Brianna play with it, but only when I am around.

My Nonno is from Italy. Italy is a country in Europe that’s shaped like a boot. He lives in the Apennine Mountains.  He said it’s far away from the city –- and he’s even seen wolves around his house. Neat, huh? I want to visit his house and see the wolves.

Nonno likes to listen to Italian opera. He’ll put on a CD and pretend he’s the singer. It’s kind of embarrassing, but it’s kind of funny too.
