Salam everyone!  I am Amir!

My mom and dad were born in Iran. But I was born in the United States, only six years ago. Last year, my parents took me to Iran for a visit.  I was such an amazing place. I saw so many interesting things. My favorite place to visit was the ziggurat –_ it’s like a huge, really cool pyramid.

I like to eat just about anything off the grill. My favorite food is kebabs, especially like the one's my father makes.  We went to the park recently and dad made food for all my friends. Asha, Lorenzo, Alisha and Trey really like his food too.

I also like to play the ney – that's a flute kind of instrument that makes a really cool sound. When I play I feel like a snake charmer.
